With the introduction of 3 new models, the 2010 Fusion line-up has 5 to choose from:  S, SE, SEL, Sport and Hybrid.  

New 

4 new engine and transmission options:

• All new 2.5 litre I-4 gas with 6 speed manual and available 6 speed automatic
• All new 2.5 litre I-4 Atkinson cycle hybrid engine with E-CTV automatic transmission on Hybrid model
• All new 3.0 litre Duratec Flex Fuel V-6 engine
• All new 3.5 litre Duratec V-6 engine
• Both V-6 engines are available with 6 speed automatic transmissions with select shift.     

Technology

The new Fusion S with the I-4 2.5 litre 4 cylinder engine is the most fuel efficient mid-size sedan sold in Canada, according to Transport Canada. 

Green

The 3.0 litre V-6 Duractec engine is now a flex fuel engine capable of running on regular gas as well as E-85 (ethanol/gas blend).

The hybrid is the most fuel efficient mid-size sedan in Canada, achieving 61 mpg and over 1200 km per tank in the city.

Blindspot Information System with cross traffic alert and rear back-up camera are available on SEL and hybrid models, a class exclusive.
